Dr. Ryan Teeple practices comprehensive ophthalmology with special interests in advanced cataract surgery, premium lens implants, dry eye, glaucoma, and diabetic eye care.  He is a compassionate physician and a talented cataract surgeon.  He uses state of the art instruments to diagnose and treat all types of eye conditions.  He is always eager to work with the newest technology, and the constant innovation in ophthalmology is one of the many factors that drew him to the field.  He was one of the very first doctors in Arizona to implant the Tecnis Symfony IOL, which is the first and only presbyopia-correcting extended range of vision IOL.

Dr. Teeple is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (click to verify). He completed residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX.  He is practically a native Tucsonan and completed both his undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Arizona.  He loves the city of Tucson and he spends one day a week working at the El Rio Community Health Center working with underserved Tucsonans.
